![]() ![]() same way unlimited prisoners turn in was patched. ![]() I guess they have to limit the black market and traveling merchants purchase power. ![]() Within the first hour of game, you can steal two stacks of books from the brotherhood camp, rush to the lakeside camp and sell them to the black market vendor, pull a guard patrol into proximity of the lakeside camp and pay your fine, then just keep stealing the books back from the black market and selling them, clearing suspicion, rinse and repeat.īy the end of your hour, you would be sitting on a few tens of thousands of krowns easily, that's an exploit. Originally posted by BedlamBetty:I am personally not talking about taking advantage of a merchant, since taking advantage of travelling merchants is a slow burn in comparison and isn't much of an exploit since you need to accumulate all that gear from somewhere. I'm sure they'll get around to it soon, although what soon means is up for debate I don't imagine the coding involved is very difficult, they just haven't gotten around to it yet, what with getting the new region ready and all that. It's just a flat rate based on how many times you've committed a theft in different locations, which is why stealing from the black market vendor and selling back to the black market vendor is so lucrative and just a flat 40 krowns for stealing over 800 krowns worth of goods, which you sell right back to him. and caught should be the vendor price.Ĭurrently, the price you pay to clear suspicion is not attached to the items stolen, unless you still have those items in inventory. So how come they haven't balanced the price for everything ? don't tell they have to manually input all the items :( that would be a fools errant and database work. Maybe my party is just overleveled at the moment. something like the Baron paid for the crime charges. ![]() īut then put a clear cheap cost on that questline. Or just beat the guards they send you till they give up. but you needed to lay low a while (hanging around in mountains or places that where not accessible). cause the price to clear suspicion was higher (am doing it from my head). I agree with you money isn't a issue for those who knows the mechanic.īut in Beta I know I dreaded attacking merchants and guards. Hopefully they'll correct this soon, but in the meantime, money is not an issue to anyone who knows the game It costs 200 krowns per guard patrol attacked, but only 40 to remove a full 600 suspicion bar after stealing two stacks of books from the black market vendor and selling them right back to him for over 400 krowns each stack.
